Last updated: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SeatSaver 365 (“SeatSaver,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website, request a demonstration, connect a Microsoft 365 tenant, or use the SeatSaver service.
Information we collect
- Contact details submitted through our sales form, including name, work email, company, phone number, organization size, and message.
- Microsoft administrator profile and tenant identifiers needed for sign-in and service delivery.
- Microsoft 365 license inventory and usage-report data used to produce a requested analysis.
- Subscription and billing status received from Stripe. SeatSaver does not store full payment-card numbers.
- Tenant settings, aggregate scan totals, operational logs, and security-related request information.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, maintain, and improve SeatSaver.
- Generate license-optimization reports and recurring aggregate summaries.
- Process subscriptions and provide customer billing controls.
- Respond to sales, support, security, and privacy requests.
- Detect abuse, diagnose failures, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Microsoft 365 data
SeatSaver uses read-only Microsoft Graph permissions. It does not request permission to modify users or licenses and does not access mailbox messages, Teams chats, OneDrive files, or SharePoint content. Account-level review candidates are returned to the active customer session and are not stored in aggregate scan history or sent by email.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate SeatSaver, including Microsoft for identity and Graph data, Vercel for hosting, Neon for database services, Stripe for subscription billing, and Resend for transactional email. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use access controls, encrypted transport, signed sessions, server-only credentials, and verified webhook signatures. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. An authorized Microsoft administrator may revoke SeatSaver’s tenant consent through Microsoft Entra. Stripe billing can be managed from the customer portal.
Contact
Submit privacy or data requests through our contact form. We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
